Where To Stay In Malta For First-Timers?

If you are a first-time visitor to Malta, then it makes sense to stay in Valletta. This capital town on the East coast has the island’s most extensive collection of historical buildings and beautiful views. Valletta also has all of the shopping, dining, and entertainment you’d expect of the capital city.

If you don’t plan to hire a car during your visit to Malta, the best way to ensure that you can explore the island to the full is to stay in a central location. The best choice here is probably the capital of Valletta on the East coast. A good alternative is the area around Mdina and Rabat on the west coast, which is also well served by public transport.
